George Simian

George Simian PortraitGeorge Simian was voted one of the top 13 photo instructors in the United States in 2011.  Photo District News magazine recently announced the results of their readers poll for best workshop instructors and George Simian made the list.  PDN really put the effort into finding the best instructors and I think it fitting that George was in the top 13.

We promoted the survey on Facebook and Twitter, and asked workshops around the country to help us get the word out.  We also asked workshops to name their instructors who are evaluated most favorably by students. . . In all, we received more then 1800 responses, and 13 instructors emerged as clear favorites - PDN September 2011 issue

George is a frequent instructor at Samy’s EDU.  He teaches Pro Lighting Fundamentals, Location Lighting, Photographing Your Children, and the Bodies in Motion workshop where students will learn to stop action at great locations like the Santa Monica Trapeze School.
