This week Samy’s Camera EDU starts of big with a sold out free Speedliter seminar on Wednesday evening at the Fairfax EDU. Syl Arena will be sharing his flash secrets from his new best selling Speedliters handbook. This class filled up quickly with over 60 people. Syl follows this up on Saturday with an all day intensive seminar that still has a few seats in it.
On Saturday in Santa Ana Art Rameriz has two classes: Basic Digital Two and Photoshop CS5 Level One. Keep an eye out for some cool new classes coming down the pipeline from Art like How to Buy a Digital Camera and a sequel to his very popular class Understanding Your Digital Camera 2.
At the Fairfax location on Saturday, George Simian is teaching his also popular and sold out Photographing Children in Natural Light. Parents love taking this class to learn about using open shade and fill light to get a great portrait of their kids.
George will be pulling double duty this weekend with Sunday’s Bodies in Motion which is also sold out. Last time he took the class to the Santa Monica Pier for a mixed light high speed strobe at sunset action class. This time around he is photographing my favorite dancers the Invertigo Dance Theatre in the Los Angeles Theater Center downtown LA.
Also on Sunday we are launching Plug in & Shoot with Barry Druxman – Shooting Magazine Cover Images with One Light out of the Culver City location. Barry will show lighting techniques that anyone can use to capture magazine quality images using minimal lighting gear.
